Henty Advisory was started in 2025 by Paul Andrews to help address the strategic and commercial challenges of Australian agriculture and adjacent industries. The firm is named after the pioneering Henty family, regarded as the founders of Victoria’s wool industry and leaders in establishing Victoria’s first settlement at Portland in Western Victoria.
Paul Andrews - Principal Advisor
Paul is passionate about Australian agriculture and its adjacent industries and believes strongly in the value these sectors bring to investors, communities, and the economy.
Before founding Henty Advisory, Paul spent over five years at L.E.K. Consulting providing strategic and commercial advice to the agriculture and industrials sectors. His work included strategy development, M&A due diligence, and organisational performance improvement. In 2023, he was seconded part-time to The Victorian National Party as Head of Strategy.
Before consulting, he developed a broad skillset in the finance industry while stockbroking at Goldman Sachs JBWere and working at Warakirri Asset Management. He has also worked for the Wesfarmers Group of Companies, holding roles reporting to the CEO of Target Australia and the Director of Store Operations at Coles Supermarkets.
During his career, Paul has worked with individuals at all levels of organisations, from asset owners and Boards, to senior leaders and front-line teams.
Outside work, he is a Trustee Director of the Robin Campbell Family Foundation that supports young people and the arts; and is a member of the Victorian National Party’s Audit and Risk Committee.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and also holds a Heavy Rigid truck driving license.
